Established in 2006, Kirkstall won the Venturefest Investment competition in 2007 and went onto secure further seed funding from the South Yorkshire Investment Fund.
In 2008 Kirkstall succeeded in attracting a GRD grant and secured further investment from the Viking Fund and Angel Investors.
